Apple still owns rights to Sweden Kungstradgarden plot, could revive store plans
I'm not sure if Apple knew what they were getting themself into when they planed this store. The Kungsträdgården plaza is a rare place uniting the progressive left with the conservative right. In the 60s Stockholm Council wanted to cut down threes to build a Subway-entrancem which was met with wild protests. Basicaly the peak of Sweden's 68-movement. This is one thing everyone in Stockholm knows I would guess many people suport the idea that the plaza is holly and should remain unchanged. I was at the public consultation (townhall?) of the most recent concept of the Store, and people were really furious! their opinion was mostly that this idea is something only the rich people want, which is quite ironic since it later was the conservative right that vowed to block the plans. They generaly don't like anything new or tall, and what the town to have a classic look while the left don't want the plaza to be commercialized. At the consultation a left activist actually had digged up the original permit fot TGI Friday that unfortunaly said that the place can only be a resturant or a cafe. At this point I think it would be very hard for Apple to continue with their plans. But I hope they try to build a underground shop like the one in 5th Avenue or Shanghai. In that way they can remove the TGI building and make the plaza more open and would not block the view from the street. This would of course be more expensive for Apple and frankly I think they would sell more if people had a clearer look of the shop. -

Leaked iPhone 15 Pro images back up solid state button rumor
I think the volume buttons and the mute button are genius, and I hope apple don’t do anything to make them less useful. The mute button is super handy while in meeting to be able to mute the phone in the pocket without even looking at the phone. I guess a button would work since the phone vibrates when you press do silent mode. But I’m afraid Apple will somehow make this function less useful. -
Apple's mixed reality headset could be what the entire AR/VR market needs to succeed
I always thought the killer feature would be video calls. If it somehow can track face and gestures and make you see who you are calling would be a game changer for telephones. Video calls are always like looking into a tv. If you could have a mixed reality version of who your taking to it would be fantastic. I bet this already exist. But Apple would probably make it easier to use. Other than that I was very impressed during Covid when my friend went to parties overseas with VR, although the technology was far from well polished. -
iPhone fold: All the rumors about Apple's first foldable, and when it might launch
My dream would be if the fold had a
square let say 2,5 inch screen for some light use of the phone without opening it. Like making a call, quick check email. Then realize that this would be a great form factor and the year after release that mini OS with a small screen as its own phone without the fold. I know one can only dream and I probably should look towards android. But I for one would like an iPhone that can do the most important basic things, but don’t keep me busy for hours and takes too much space. -
Apple Watch arrived on buyers' wrists 10 years ago
I had a good economy then and bought one on the launch day to help support Tim Cook. I still think it’s one of my favorite Apple products. I used a Series 0 for about four years and have had a Series 4 now. My only complaint is that Apple does not change batteries on them. My 4 sometimes doesn’t last all day, and it was a gift from my parents so I want to keep it. And the new ones are also a bit too expensive for me currently in my life. -
