Pantone is one of those companies that makes absolutely insane amounts of money on the products that they sell. But as with everything, Capitalism decrees that any and every publicly traded company needs to keep making more money than they did last quarter. If they don’t then they’re seen as a failure. 

What these politicians fail to realize is that as soon as you take payment processing out of Apple’s hands, you take refunds out of Apple’s hands. Suddenly these companies are allowed to lie cheat and steal from people as soon as they get their credit card details, and it’ll be up to the credit card companies to refund for scams, which they often won’t do. 

I’m actually surprised at how low this number is. They’ve been doing Red for a long time. And Red is supposed to be one of their most popular colours. Seems like the portion of the sale that actually goes toward fighting aids must be pretty low if a company with Apple’s reach hasn’t managed to hit over a billion by now. I mean the U2 iPod came out how long ago?

This doesn’t surprise me much. The production quality was good. But so much of it was just slice of life awkwardness. I honestly had to kind of force myself to watch it. I wanted to like it but the pacing just was too slow. 

Half of Tesla’s value at any given time is related to Musk. The only reason to acquire Tesla for Apple would be if they wanted Musk as the next CEO of Apple, and I think they’d be crazy to want that.
