Hands on: Apple's iPhone XR brings color and value to the 2018 lineup
Mike Wuerthele said:ireland said:At €879 for a 64 GB LCD iPhone, I'm going to say it does not bring value. What it does however it bring the price of iPhones higher than last year. Higher and higher. What Apple has actually done in the past two years is of benefit mostly to shareholders. And the spoiled kids of rich people. -

At least nine Macs with M2 Apple Silicon chips are reportedly in development
Tested 14" MBP in store and find it too thick at the front, as I've used MBA since 2012. Currently have MBA 2015 with SD Card slot. Want a thin and light, but want built-in SD Card port (important: built-in). FWP, but it's a pain in the ass Apple won't bring SD Card back to MBA like they are with MBP. They are bringing back MagSafe, but they should bring back SD Card and stop gimping their machines. MPB should be 2X everything MBA, but both machines should have same port variety for those users who love the thinner form factor and don't need 3X USB-4 ports and the additional power, fans and cooling a 1.5-2X speed machine would require. -
2022 MacBook Air will have 'M2' chip, MagSafe, 1080p camera, says leaker
Darn, my 2015 Air has an SD Card slot. Apple, ffs, add SD Card (MagSafe and headphone jack). Make MBA great again.
First things first: dongles are the worst. If MBA gets no SD Card I would be forced into buying a more powerful, thicker, heavier, more expensive machine I don't want with less web browsing battery life than my current 2015 MBA (new battery).
So I'd have less ports and worse web browsing battery life than my then 7 year old MBA. Seriously. -

Apple's Eddy Cue wanted to bring iMessage to Android as early as 2013
As someone who’s exclusively in the Apple ecosystem of products making iMessage work with Android makes my life better. Improves my UX and out of the box experience to no end. iPhones should win by being better devices, having this cross-compatibility out of the box helps achieve that. No-ports Schiller wrong again. -
